Mindfulness is extremely useful for elite athletes, military, first responders, tactical units, and corporate professionals. This program works to enhance the human ability to respond to pain, stress, anger, fear, self-criticism, and more.
Mindfulness is for anyone who seeks to increase and improve performance personally and professionally. The intent is to gain greater understanding on what is occurring internally and physiologically. That is what will enable the participant to respond to high-stress situations or trauma, more efficiently and in a healthier manner. I combine mindfulness with peer support techniques and resilience techniques in order to bring a dynamic mindfulness, wellness, and resilience course everyone can benefit from, regardless of profession.

The Mindful Hike Course from New England Mindfulness and Performance is an immersive outdoor experience that combines mindfulness, movement, and nature-based resilience training—all designed specifically for first responders, veterans, and high-stress professionals.
This is not just a walk in the woods.
It’s a guided journey to help participants unplug from the noise, manage stress more effectively, and develop tools to carry calm and clarity into everyday life, on the job and at home.

COURSE CONTENT:
All training includes an interactive discussion regarding various topics related to stress, performance, the science of mindfulness, post-trauma growth, the default mode network, the cycle of mindful responding, practicing positivity, the science of gratitude, the benefit of bringing mindfulness to goals, distraction vs. mindful monitoring, and deliberate vs. spontaneous mindfulness.
